Job Description
Reporting to the Associate Director, APAC HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the organization’s HR functions, systems, processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, fostering a positive employee experience, and ensuring that our company remains compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
The role holder will collaborate with the other regions as well as the wider People and IT community (both across APAC and globally) to support the delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for people systems, processes, and compliance that aligns with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Collaborate with senior leaders and key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure our HR functions and processes remain current and compliant.
2. HR Functions Systems and Processes Management:
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and efficient people systems, including HRIS, performance management, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, and offboarding.
Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and implement streamlined and automated solutions.
Drive the adoption and effective utilization of people systems across the organization, providing training and support as needed.
3. Legal Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that there are clear Business Continuity Plans for core People Systems and Processes.
Stay informed about changing legal, regulatory, and internal audit requirements and ensure that the organization’s processes and practices remain compliant.
Employment of Labour Law in each APAC regions such as Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, India and US.
4. Employee Experience and Support:
Partner with People Teams across the board and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that HR functions and processes align with employee needs and promote a positive employee experience.
Provide guidance and support to People team members on system usage, process adherence, and compliance matters.
Address and resolve escalated issues related to HR functions, people systems, processes, and compliance.
5. Compensation Benefits
Manage and review Group HR Policies, covering employment practices, compensation benefits, and employees’ insurance such as Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Korea, India and US.
Payroll Management covering all Employees in all regions stated above – ensure variable pay items are paid in timely manner.

Qualifications
• | Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Technology or a related field. |
• | PMP certified highly advantageous. |
• | Extensive experience (8+ years) in HR operations, systems, process improvement, and compliance roles. |
• | Strong knowledge of HR Functions, systems and technologies, such as HRIS, talent management, and performance management systems. |
• | In-depth understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. |
• | Proven track record of implementing and optimizing HR functions and processes in a complex organization. |
• | Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. |
• | Strong leadership abilities with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization. |
• | Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. |
